Technische Hinweise auf Englisch

Local decoding with ZXing-C++ WebAssembly. QR, Micro QR, rMQR, Data Matrix, Aztec, PDF417, MaxiCode, EAN-13/8, UPC-A/E, ISBN, Code 128/39/93, Codabar, ITF, GS1 DataBar and more. Images up to 25 MiB (16 megapixels analysed), 20 files at once; PDF up to 50 MiB, first 20 pages. Camera needs browser permission and a secure page. Damaged, tiny, blurred or very glossy codes may not be read. Links are never opened automatically.

Every frame and file is decoded in your browser by a self-hosted, integrity-checked WebAssembly build of the open-source ZXing-C++ reader; nothing is uploaded. Several codes per image are detected and outlined. Content is interpreted: links with phishing warnings (http, punycode, IP hosts, user names before @, shorteners), Wi-Fi credentials, vCard/MeCard contacts (.vcf download), calendar events (.ics), email, SMS, phone, map coordinates, 2FA otpauth secrets (masked), crypto payment URIs, EPC SEPA and Swiss QR-bill payments, EAN/UPC check digits with the issuing GS1 prefix (not the country of manufacture), ISBN-10/13, ISSN and GS1 application identifiers such as GTIN, batch, serial and expiry dates, including GS1 Digital Link URLs. Product names and prices are not looked up, because that would require sending codes to an external database.

Try the built-in example: one image containing a Wi-Fi QR code, an EAN-13 product barcode, a GS1 Data Matrix with expiry date and batch, and a link QR code. All four are found and explained.
