Finished tests appear here with personal bests per test type and language. Up to 100 results are kept in this browser only.
WPM counts five characters as one word: net WPM uses only correctly typed words (plus their spaces), raw WPM counts every typed character, and accuracy compares correct keystrokes with all keystrokes, including corrected mistakes. For Chinese and Japanese, characters per minute is more meaningful; input-method conversion is counted after the characters are committed. Paste is disabled and the test stops if the tab is hidden. Results are self-measured practice figures, not a certified typing exam.

Measure typing speed in WPM and accuracy with timed, word-count, passage and custom-text tests in 11 languages. Net WPM counts correctly typed words as five-character units; raw WPM counts every typed character; accuracy includes corrected mistakes. Options add punctuation, capitals and numbers, disable Backspace or end the test at the first error. Personal bests and a CSV history stay in this browser. No typed text is sent to a server.
Choose a 60-second English test, type the highlighted words, then read net WPM, raw WPM, accuracy, consistency, the speed chart and the keys you missed most.
