Colours follow IEC 60062; some precision parts use other codes. Everything is calculated in your browser; nothing you type is uploaded.
Digit bands give the significant figures, the multiplier band the power of ten, then tolerance and temperature coefficient. Nearest E12, E24 and E96 values are listed for comparison.
Yellow, violet, red, gold is 4.7 kΩ ±5 %, from 4.465 to 4.935 kΩ.
