Reads the code only; it does not contact the tax agency or prove the invoice is genuine. Everything is calculated in your browser; nothing you type is uploaded.
The QR holds an address on the AEAT site with the parameters nif, numserie, fecha and importe. A different domain is flagged as a possible fake.
A QR pointing to www2.agenciatributaria.gob.es with NIF 89890001K, invoice 12345678-G33 of 1 September 2026 and 241.40 € is shown field by field.
