Calculated for sea level and rounded to the minute. Mosques often add precautionary minutes: use “Minutes to add” to match your mosque. At very high latitudes Fajr and Isha follow the selected high-latitude rule. Your location is used only on this page and never sent anywhere.
Times come from the sun’s position (NOAA solar equations): Fajr and Isha when the sun is the method’s angle below the horizon, Asr when a shadow equals the object’s height (Hanafi: twice) plus its noon shadow. Umm al-Qura sets Isha 90 minutes after Maghrib (120 in Ramadan). Results match independent ephemerides within a minute.
