- Reverse zones are delegated by whoever controls the address block, usually your ISP, hosting provider or regional registry. Ask them to delegate the zone to your name servers or to publish the PTR records for you.
- IPv4 blocks smaller than a /24 use classless delegation (RFC 2317) with CNAME records at the provider; this generator writes the full /24 zone.
- Check the files with named-checkzone before loading them.

Technische opmerkingen in het Engels
IPv4 zones are /8, /16 or /24; classless (RFC 2317) delegation for smaller blocks is not generated. Up to 10,000 records. Everything is calculated in your browser; nothing is sent or probed on the network.
Each address is reversed into its PTR name and grouped by zone; owner names are written relative to $ORIGIN. The serial defaults to today in YYYYMMDDnn form.
192.0.2.10 www.example.com becomes “10 IN PTR www.example.com.” in the zone 2.0.192.in-addr.arpa.
