How to use .env File Converter and Validator
Paste a .env file (or JSON/YAML), choose the output format and copy it. Warnings show duplicate keys, invalid names and unclosed quotes.
How it works
Parsing follows common dotenv rules: optional “export”, double quotes with \n escapes and multi-line values, literal single quotes, and “ #” comments after unquoted values. The last duplicate wins.
Example
DATABASE_URL, PORT and a multi-line value become a JSON object, or a Kubernetes Secret with each value base64-encoded.
