How to use Group Expense Splitter
List the people, then add each expense with the person who paid and, if it was not for everyone, who it was for. The transfers and balances update as you type; copy the list or export it as CSV.
How it works
Each expense is split equally among its beneficiaries in whole cents (leftover cents go to the first names). Balances are paid minus share; the person who owes most then pays the person owed most until everyone is even, which needs at most one payment fewer than the number of people.
Example
Four friends spend 1,233 €; Alex paid the 840 € flat, so Noor pays Alex 258.75 €, Sam 186.35 € and Kenji 100.15 €.
