How to use File Encryptor (Password-Protect Any File)
Choose a file, enter a strong password twice (or generate a passphrase), encrypt and download. To decrypt, choose the .pze file and enter the password.
How it works
The key is derived with Argon2id (64 MiB, 3 passes) from a random salt; the file is sealed in 1 MiB AES-256-GCM chunks whose nonces and authenticated data bind each chunk’s position and the end of the file.
Example
A 20 MB PDF encrypted with a six-word passphrase becomes report.pdf.pze, about 400 bytes larger, which only that passphrase can open.
