Choose two PDFs, select up to 20 page numbers and compare. Review previews and text changes, then save the comparison report.
How it works
Visible crop and page rotation are rendered in your browser. Magenta highlights pixels that exceed the chosen tolerance. Text differences use embedded PDF text; scanned text is not recognized. Missing pages are blank. The local HTML report includes previews and both extracted texts. Comparison does not establish document authenticity.

Is Compare PDF free, and do I need an account?
Yes. This tool is free to use in your browser without an account. Processing takes place on your device.
What are the limits and what should I check?
20 MiB per PDF, 200 source pages each, up to 20 compared pages. Pages are matched by number; no OCR or semantic comparison. Review the downloaded document, especially page order and watermarks.
Is my input sent to a server?
Your input is processed in your browser and is not uploaded by this tool. Files and pasted text are cleared when the page is refreshed. Normal website requests are still required to load the page and its libraries. Read the privacy explanation.
