How to use TLS Certificate Lifetime Calculator
Choose the issue date and use the maximum allowed or your certificate’s validity. Set how much of the lifetime should remain when you renew.
How it works
CA/Browser Forum ballot SC-081: 398 days before 15 March 2026, then 200 days, 100 days from 15 March 2027 and 47 days from 15 March 2029, with domain-validation reuse falling to 10 days.
Example
A certificate issued on 11 October 2026 can be valid for at most 200 days, so it expires on 29 April 2027; renewing with a third left means around 22 February 2027.
