Cleaning punctuation does not make text undetectable or change its authorship. Everything is calculated in your browser; nothing you type is uploaded.
Each rule is a precise character replacement, counted in the results table: U+2014 em dashes, U+2018–201F quotes, U+2026 ellipses, non-breaking spaces and zero-width or direction-control characters.
“The results are clear — and they matter.” becomes “The results are clear, and they matter.”, and **bold** markers and invisible characters disappear.
