- Per-user rates are typical published recommendations (video meeting, streaming and VoIP vendors); replace them with your vendor’s figures.
- Consumer links are often asymmetric: video meetings and cloud backup usually make upload the limit.

Active users × per-user rate, summed per direction, then multiplied by protocol overhead and growth and divided by the maximum utilisation of the link.
60 users browsing, meeting in 1080p, calling and syncing files need about 254 Mbps down and 179 Mbps up with headroom: a 300 Mbps symmetric link.
