Notas técnicas en inglés
Dotted IPv4 with leading zeros is rejected because some systems read it as octal. Everything is calculated in your browser; nothing is sent or probed on the network.
The input is parsed into one integer (32 or 128 bits) and printed in every notation. IPv6 compression follows RFC 5952; embedded IPv4 addresses are detected in IPv4-mapped, 6to4 and NAT64 forms.
192.168.1.10 = 3232235786 = 0xC0A8010A = ::ffff:192.168.1.10; 2001:0DB8:0000:0000:0000:ff00:0042:8329 compresses to 2001:db8::ff00:42:8329.
