- Dotted decimal
- 192.168.1.10

- Octal is shown for reference: some tools read leading zeros as octal, so 010.0.0.1 can mean 8.0.0.1. This converter rejects leading zeros in dotted input.
How to use IP Address Converter
Paste an address in any form: dotted IPv4, IPv6, a decimal integer, 0x hexadecimal or binary. Choose whether integers are read as IPv4 or IPv6.
How it works
The input is parsed into one integer (32 or 128 bits) and printed in every notation. IPv6 compression follows RFC 5952; embedded IPv4 addresses are detected in IPv4-mapped, 6to4 and NAT64 forms.
Example
192.168.1.10 = 3232235786 = 0xC0A8010A = ::ffff:192.168.1.10; 2001:0DB8:0000:0000:0000:ff00:0042:8329 compresses to 2001:db8::ff00:42:8329.
Questions about IP Address Converter
Is IP Address Converter free, and do I need an account?
Yes. This tool is free to use in your browser without an account. Processing takes place on your device.

Dotted IPv4 with leading zeros is rejected because some systems read it as octal. Everything is calculated in your browser; nothing is sent or probed on the network. Review the result before using it in your work.
Is my input sent to a server?
Your input is processed in your browser and is not uploaded by this tool. Files and pasted text are cleared when the page is refreshed. Normal website requests are still required to load the page and its libraries. Read the privacy explanation.
