Note tecniche in inglese
Uses Cloudflare’s public speed test servers (speed.cloudflare.com); random test data and your IP address reach Cloudflare, nothing is stored by PasteZap. About 10 seconds per direction with up to 4 parallel streams; caps of 300 MB download and 150 MB upload per test. Results depend on Wi-Fi, other traffic, the browser and the route to Cloudflare, and can differ from your plan or other speed tests.
Ping is the median of 20 time-to-first-byte samples minus the server processing time that Cloudflare reports; jitter is the mean difference between consecutive samples. Throughput is measured with growing request sizes and parallel connections, excluding the warm-up period. Upload speed counts only requests the server has fully received, because browser upload-progress events report locally buffered bytes and overstate speed.
A fibre line might show ping 12 ms, jitter 2 ms, download 480 Mbps and upload 210 Mbps; on mobile data the test can use several hundred megabytes.
