How to use Internet Speed Test
Press GO and keep the tab open. The test measures ping and jitter, then download and upload speed. Close other downloads and video calls first for a more accurate result, and press GO again to repeat the test.
How it works
Ping is the median of 20 time-to-first-byte samples minus the server processing time that Cloudflare reports; jitter is the mean difference between consecutive samples. Throughput is measured with growing request sizes and parallel connections, excluding the warm-up period. Upload speed counts only requests the server has fully received, because browser upload-progress events report locally buffered bytes and overstate speed.
Example
A fibre line might show ping 12 ms, jitter 2 ms, download 480 Mbps and upload 210 Mbps; on mobile data the test can use several hundred megabytes.

Is Internet Speed Test free, and do I need an account?
Yes. This tool is free to use in your browser without an account. It exchanges random test data with Cloudflare’s public speed test servers (speed.cloudflare.com); PasteZap does not store results.
What are the limits and what should I check?
Uses Cloudflare’s public speed test servers (speed.cloudflare.com); random test data and your IP address reach Cloudflare, nothing is stored by PasteZap. About 10 seconds per direction with up to 4 parallel streams; caps of 300 MB download and 150 MB upload per test. Results depend on Wi-Fi, other traffic, the browser and the route to Cloudflare, and can differ from your plan or other speed tests. Review the result before using it in your work.
Is my input sent to a server?
Your input is processed in your browser and is not uploaded by this tool. Files and pasted text are cleared when the page is refreshed. Normal website requests are still required to load the page and its libraries. Read the privacy explanation.
