How to use Private Translator (On-Device, Chrome)
Paste the text, choose the languages (or detect the source automatically) and press Translate. The first use of a language pair may download its model in Chrome.

Uses the Translator and Language Detector APIs that Chrome provides to web pages; translation runs locally on the device.

Works in Chrome 138+ on a computer only; other browsers and phones show a notice. Machine translation can be wrong. Review the result before using it in your work.
Is my input sent to a server?
Your input is processed in your browser and is not uploaded by this tool. Files and pasted text are cleared when the page is refreshed. Normal website requests are still required to load the page and its libraries. Read the privacy explanation.
