How to use Minecraft Circle Generator
Choose circle, ellipse or sphere, the size in blocks and the style. For a sphere or dome, step through the layers from the bottom. Red lines mark the centre.
How it works
A block is placed when its centre lies inside the ideal shape. Thin outlines keep blocks with a side neighbour outside the shape; thick outlines also check diagonals, so there are no diagonal gaps.
Example
A 21-block thin circle needs 56 blocks: row 1 covers columns 8–14 and rows 8–14 have one block at each side.
