How to use Nether Portal Calculator
Choose the direction and enter the coordinates shown by F3 (Java) or “Show coordinates” (Bedrock). Build the other portal at the result to link the two reliably.
How it works
Nether coordinates are Overworld X and Z divided by 8 (rounded down); Y is not scaled. The game searches for an existing portal near the target before creating a new one.
Example
Overworld X 1000, Y 70, Z −2400 becomes Nether X 125, Y 70, Z −300; travelling through the Nether saves about 2,275 blocks.
