How to use OKLCH Color Converter
Type a colour as #hex, rgb(), hsl(), oklch() or oklab(). Results update instantly; out-of-gamut colours get an sRGB fallback.
How it works
Conversions use Björn Ottosson’s OKLab matrices with the sRGB transfer curve; out-of-gamut colours are mapped by reducing chroma at constant lightness and hue.
Example
#3b82f6 is oklch(0.6231 0.188 259.81): 62 % lightness, chroma 0.188, hue 260°, with a contrast of 3.68 : 1 on white.
