How to use MCP Server Config Generator
Add each server with its name, transport, command and arguments (or URL and headers) and environment variables. Copy the file for your client.
How it works
Claude Code and VS Code use a type field (stdio or http); Cursor and Claude Desktop use command/args/env for local servers. Arguments are split like a shell would, keeping quoted parts together.
Example
A filesystem server run with npx and a remote GitHub server become .mcp.json, .cursor/mcp.json, .vscode/mcp.json, claude_desktop_config.json and claude mcp add commands.
