Technische opmerkingen in het Engels

Watts as entered; electrical codes differ by country and final designs need a qualified electrician. Weight uses the rack’s static rating. Everything is calculated in your browser; nothing is sent or probed on the network.

Racks = total U ÷ usable U per rack (and weight ÷ rating); circuit capacity = voltage × current × derating (× √3 for three phase); heat = watts × 3.412 BTU/h.

28 devices filling 39 U in 42U racks with 20 % reserve need 2 racks of 4.3 kW each, two 16 A circuits per feed (A + B) and about 29,500 BTU/h of cooling.
